We stayed at this charming homestay for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The comfortable bed and soft pillows provided much-needed rest after our busy days exploring the island. The friendly owners, who are police officers, made us feel safe and secure. The WiFi connection was reliable, and the spacious room had all the necessary amenities. The well-equipped kitchen and complimentary hot and cold water refills were a nice bonus. The location was convenient, just a short moped ride from the port, making it easy for us to catch our early morning ferry. Highly recommended!
100% Recommend this hotel.

My stay at James Homestay was fantastic! The room was clean and spacious, with all the amenities I needed. The location was convenient, just a short scooter ride away from the ferry port and San Juan. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing me with helpful tips on local attractions and even offering affordable scooter rentals. The value for money was unbeatable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the occasional power interruption and some noise from nearby roosters, overall I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this homestay.

The staff at this homestay were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with a smile. the wifi here was fantastic, allowing me to load videos without any issues. the location of the homestay was great, with it being close to the bars and restaurants in the area.
The lack of hot water in the showers, which was a bit of an inconvenience. I also noticed a few mosquitoes in the room when I first checked in, but the staff provided insect repellent to help with that.

Plus, we had the pleasure of meeting their adorable dog Hersey. We were even able to extend our stay due to a canceled boat trip. Enjoyed the American breakfast, especially when I had to wake up at 5 AM. Loved the shared lounge and bar, perfect for socializing with strangers. The closest airport was just a hop, skip, and a jump away.
Just loved walking past everyone's rooms to get to the bathroom, such a convenient and private experience.
